Short Term Program (Summer)

The short-term or Summer Exchange Program is usually three or four weeks in host country, returning with exchange sister/brother for three or four weeks in Tennessee.  In some exchanges, students will be traveling to countries in the southern hemisphere, which will be in their winter months, while we are in our summer months. The sister/brother students in these countries will probably be visiting Tennesse in our winter months as well, to accommodate their school schedules.

 Application Fee:  $250
Covers cost of orientation, t-shirt, insurance and district administration -- Payable to District 6760 Rotary Youth Exchange

Round-Trip Airfare:  $1,000 - 1,500
Depends on destination and demand; students have secured fares as low as $675

Personal Expense Allowance:  $400 - 500

Estimated Total:  $1,650 - 2,250
